e-Learning - BYOD
BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) was introduced into the senior school at the beginning of 2018. A parent information evening was held on 22 November 2017 in preparation for this. You can view what was shared on that evening below. An important thing to remember is that BYOD is not compulsory. We have school owned devices available for the children who do not bring their own.
What Do You Agree To?
For your child to bring their own device you must sign the BYOD Agreement below. Scroll down to read the agreement or click on the button above if you wish to download it.
What To Buy
You have two options. You can either purchase a Chromebook with a quadcore processor (not dualcore) or a Macbook Air. These devices are available anywhere. Also please supply a set of headphones and a protective sleeve for your child's device. Below are quotes from Harvey Norman, so you can see the specifications needed. Click on the button to download. Please come and see us if you have any questions.
