Team Kahikatea
About
Team Kahikatea are the Year 2 and 3 team at Banks Avenue School. We have four teachers in our team who are all very experienced in teaching at this level and one beginning teacher who is looking forward to starting her teaching journey with us. We have an understanding of other cultures in our school and work hard to ensure the children's language and culture is valued.

We have four teachers working in collaborative spaces and one teacher in a single cell to cater for those children who are not ready to work in a big space. Teachers plan together to ensure that children get the best possible outcomes.
