Our PTA
About
Our PTA is keen to grow its parent base and invites any interested parents to come along to a meeting to see what is involved. The main role of the PTA is to support the staff and the BoT by encouraging a closer relationship between families and the school. Fundraising plays a major part of the PTA which in turn allows the school to buy extra resources that our students benefit from. The PTA also oversee lost property, run the second hand uniform shop, organise lunch online and organise social functions for our students, like discos.
Our PTA is a vital partner of our Banks Avenue School family and meets once a month at 7:00pm in the staffroom. Everyone is welcome to come along. We also have the ‘friends of the PTA’ who may choose not to come to meetings but want to be kept informed on upcoming events and volunteer where they are available.
