Rational:
Every child should be encouraged to have a sense of identity, belonging and pride in their school. The wearing of school uniform will assist in achieving this goal.
Purpose:
- To provide a sense of identity with the school.
- To promote a positive visual image.
- To maintain a suitable standard of dress.
Broad Guidelines:
- School uniform is to be worn by all children.
- It is expected that uniforms will be maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
- Specified uniforms will be worn at school related functions.
- Jewellery is not to be worn except watches, ear studs and ethnic necklaces. Make-up and nail polish are not acceptable.
- The wearing of sunhats will be worn during summer months.
