PURPOSE:
- To ensure that the size of our school roll does not grow beyond that which the resources of our school can efficiently manage.
- To manage our school size to maintain our family culture.
- To access additional resources from the Ministry of Education.
OBJECTIVE:
- The organisation of the school supports our best practice, teaching and learning programmes.
- Class sizes are maintained at an appropriate level.
- Overcrowding is prevented and thus the resources of the school are not overtaxed.
- The maximum roll for a year is governed by the organisation of the school as presented by the principal to the Board.
- A procedure is in place to manage the enrolments of the out-of-zone pupils.
- An enrolment zone is in place.
- All aspects of the enrolment scheme meet the requirements as laid out by the Ministry of Education.
- The process of pupil acceptance is a management matter.
