When a child is going to be absent from school parents are asked to either telephone the school – phone 385 4163 between 8.00-8.55 am, text to 0274228032, email office@banksave.school.nz or send a message via another family member or neighbour. Where no phone is available, please endeavour to get a message to the school.
The school will undertake to try to make contact with home if a child is unaccounted for. Please make sure we have your current home and work number.
Please note that we cannot approve the absence of any pupil during school time for extra activities, unless that activity has official educational approval (eg: speech therapy visits), which must be authorised by the Principal.
